NEWS BRIEF: Mediacorp Channel 5 in Singapore has ordered a third season of Banijay’s culinary format hit MasterChef.

Produced by Blue Ant Studios-owned Beach House Pictures and Motion Content Group, the 10-episode season will air during Q2 next year. The MasterChef format, distributed by Banijay Rights, was created by Franc Roddam. It first launched in 1990 on UK pubcaster the BBC and was later revived in 2005.
