Showtime tells more Lies

US cablenet Showtime has commissioned new seasons of House of Lies, starring Don Cheadle, and its remake of British show Shameless.

House of Lies, currently in its third season on Showtime, and Shameless, which is in its fourth, will both return in 2015 with 12 new episodes each.

The commissions mean Showtime will enter production on new seasons of three different series in LA later this year, after renewing its comedy Episodes for a fourth season in December.

In related news, Showtime Anytime, the network’s VoD service, is now available on Roku, the US internet TV platform.

Roku users who subscribe to Showtime will now have free, unlimited on-demand access to hundreds of hours of the network’s programming, as well as the live broadcast of both the East and West Coast feeds of Showtime.
