Shine hires ex-Fox Look sales chief

Former Fox Look UK sales chief Jennifer Harrington has re-emerged at the distribution arm of News Corp-owned Shine Group.

Harrington has joined Shine International’s London distribution base as maternity cover for EMEA senior sales manager Lisette Schlippe, overseeing Germany and the Nordic territories.

The move for the time being reunites Harrington with News Corp, following her stint as director of sales for the UK and Ireland at its now defunct format export arm Fox Look between 2010 and 2011.

She left Fox Look when News Corp decided to close the unit during the period it bought Shine for £415m (US$674m).

Schlippe has been in her role since August 2010, when she joined from UK-based distributor 3DD, where she was head of sales.
