Shahid partners with FCCE on daily shortform entertainment feed

MBC Group-owned Arabic streamer Shahid is launching a daily feed of shortform news and entertainment content in collaboration with Amsterdam-based producer-distributor FCCE.

Curated for a young, mobile-first audience, the daily feed includes celebrity news, film trailers, red-carpet coverage, lifestyle, music, fashion, food and regional highlights such as the Red Sea Film Festival and other major cultural events.

The content will be fully localised and integrated across the Shahid platform via a phased rollout.

Justus Verkerk, CEO of FCCE, said: “We see shortform video as one of the fastest-growing formats in entertainment, especially among mobile-first audiences. This is a strategic next step in a long-standing partnership [between FCCE and Shahid].”
