Seth MacFarlane’s Ted renewed for S2 on Peacock

Comcast has hailed Ted as Peacock’s biggest original hit

LA SCREENINGS: NBCUniversal Media Group-owned streamer Peacock has ordered a second season of its comedic prequel series Ted, from creator and star Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy).

Produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, alongside Fuzzy Door and MRC, the series is the prequel to the 2012 movie of the same name, about a man whose childhood wish brings his teddy bear friend to life. Season one, which launched in January, was Peacock’s most watched original title to date, according to the streamer.
