Whodunnit series Agatha Christie’s Hjerson

M6 and TF1 France’s pay TV channel Serieclub and Radio-Canada have acquired whodunnit series Agatha Christie’s Hjerson, as has RTS for French-speaking Switzerland.

Agatha Christie’s Hjerson (8×44’, 4×88’) follows a retired Swedish investigator who is approached by a trash TV producer who wants to reset her career with a true crime show that stars him.

The series was produced by Swedish prodco BR•F’s head of development Patrik Andersson and head of TV drama Ulf Synnerholm for TV4’s C More, in coproduction with ZDF, Nadcon and the government of Åland, and in collaboration with ZDF Studios and Agatha Christie Ltd.

It was created and developed by BR•F director and writer Patrik Gyllström, and co-written by Gyllström, Björn Paqualin, Jakob Beckman, Martin Luuk and Aron Levander. It was directed by Lisa James Larsson and Lisa Farzaneh.

Distributed by ZDF Studios, previous buyers of the series include North American streamer Topic, Australia’s SBS, Viasat World, Amazon and Walter Presents in the UK and Ireland.
