SeaLight Pictures staffs up for growth with Flame Media alum Dolan

Alasdair Dolan, former head of business at producer and distributor Flame Media Group, has been appointed head of business development and strategic partnerships at fellow Australian prodco SeaLight Pictures.

In the newly created role, Dolan will focus on creating and solidifying relationships across the industry, with a concentration on content development at SeaLight.

Prior to this role, he was the head of business development and external relationships at Flame Media Group for more than six years. His role included overseeing the Flame Co production Alliance, a group of producers working together to enrich each other’s industry knowledge and skills, overseeing the back catalogue of stock footage and working to develop fresh ideas with the distribution team.

Sarah Beard

SeaLight Pictures has also hired Sarah Beard as a series producer, whose credits include National Geographic/Disney+’s Secrets of the Octopus, which is in production with Titanic director James Cameron.
