Scripps inspired by Olson series

Scripps Networks Asia-Pacific has greenlit Peace Point Rights’ new 4k culinary series featuring celebrity chef Anna Olson.

Inspired with Anna Olson (10×30’) was developed for Scripps Networks Asia-Pacific and marks the network’s first original commission by a North American producer.

The ultra-high-definition series has also been licensed to Canada’s Shaw Media and begins production across Asia this month.

The programme sees Olson travel to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Philippines and Thailand to learn the secrets behind Asia’s signature dishes before adapting the techniques, ingredients and flavours in her own kitchen.

The new series comes on the heels of Bake with Anna Olson, which was recently jointly commissioned for a third season in 4K ultra-HD by Scripps Networks and Shaw’s Media’s Food Network Canada. Originally produced for Food Network Canada, the series is now seen in over 190 countries.
