Screenwest in Australia appoints Ingrid Longley as head of industry development

West Australian funding agency Screenwest has appointed Ingrid Longley as its head of industry development.

Beginning in the role later this month, Longley will lead the design and delivery of Screenwest’s industry growth initiatives, including production attraction incentives, film friendly initiatives, workforce capacity, documentary and digital games.

Longley joins the agency with over 15 years’ experience across the screen industry, with tenures at Western Australian production companies including Electric Pictures and Prospero Productions, specialising in international documentaries.

She was most recently at communications and training organisation The Bullshift Company, where she serves as head of product and corporate.

“Contributing in a meaningful way to the success of Western Australia’s film, TV and digital creators is something I’m passionate about. I’m thrilled to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new collaborators, and listen to and work alongside the talented, driven people who make Western Australia such a great place to tell stories,” Longley said.
