Screen Producers Australia appoints Sarah Melrose as chief operating officer

Screen Producers Australia (SPA) has appointed Sarah Melrose as its new chief operating officer (COO), following the departure of Glenn Hamilton.

Melrose joins SPA after a seasoned career in the advertising, adtech and agency sector, most recently leading independent media agency Admatic.

Hamilton served as COO for the past four years, guiding the SPA team across Screen Forever annual conferences, launching the Respectful Workplace Program and developing systems and processes supporting SPA’s ongoing work.

Hamilton is exiting SPA to join telecommunications company Optus as a local general manager for New South Wales Central Coast & North Coast.
