Screen Australia appoints Mark Reid as new CFO

Screen Australia has appointed former New South Wales (NSW) parliamentary executive Mark Reid as its new CFO.

Reid joins Screen Australia having held roles across state and federal government, most recently serving as CFO and COO at the NSW Parliamentary Counsel’s Office with prior experience in senior roles at the Australian Securities and Investment Commission, KPMG, the Commonwealth Department of Finance and NSW Treasury.

Screen Australia CEO Deirdre Brennan said: “Mark brings a wealth of experience and I welcome him to the Screen Australia leadership team. In a complex landscape, his exceptional record will be an invaluable asset to Screen Australia and our industry.”

Reid begins his new role at Screen Australia on October 1, based in the Sydney office. He replaces Richard Nankivell who has been with Screen Australia since 2010.

He said: “I am excited to be joining the team at Screen Australia at this important time for the industry. Being able to apply my skills and experience in public sector financial management with my passion for creative industries is a great privilege.”
