Scott Sternberg, Trifecta syndicate iCRIME with Elizabeth Vargas across US

US-based Scott Sternberg Productions and Trifecta Entertainment & Media have unveiled a nationally syndicated true crime series called iCRIME with Elizabeth Vargas that will launch across 95% of the US on September 12.

The half-hour project will air via several of America’s largest broadcast station groups, including Nexstar’s WPIX in New York and more than 50 stations from the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Other groups, such as Gray Media Group, Scripps Media, Cox Media Group, Tegna, CBS Television Stations, Fox Television Stations and Weigel Broadcasting, will also air the show.

Hosted by author and journalist Vargas (20/20, America’s Most Wanted, A+E Investigates), the show examines crimes that have been captured on ordinary people’s smartphones. It will air five days a week from Monday to Friday.

US producer and true crime veteran Scott Sternberg is co-creator and executive producer. Also exec producing are Vargas and Hank Cohen, CEO of distributor Trifecta.

Scott Sternberg Productions is handling international sales, while Trifecta will cover all domestic distribution. Trifecta president Michael Daraio is overseeing all advertising and sponsorship sales.
