SBS6, TF1, TV2 among int’l nets to pick up BBC format Sort Your Life Out

A six-part series of Sort Your Life Out will air on BBC One later this year

MIPCOM: SBS6 in the Netherlands, TF1 in France and TV2 in Denmark are among a host of networks to have picked up decluttering format Sort Your Life Out after its pilot on BBC One in the UK.

Produced by Optomen Television and distributed by All3Media International, Sort Your Life Out assembles a team of experts to help transform the most cluttered homes. After a successful pilot on BBC One, the broadcaster commissioned a six-episode series to air later this year.

SBS6 has acquired IDTV’s adaptation of the format, for broadcast this week. TF1 has picked up the adaptation rights for France and French-speaking territories, while TV2 will adapt the format in Denmark.

Meanwhile, MTV Oy will adapt the series in Finland, Tower Productions has commissioned a first season in Germany and Monster Entertainment will produce the show for Norwegian audiences.

Announcing the deals at Mipcom, Stephen Driscoll, exec VP for EMEA at All3Media International, said: “With so many of us spending more time at home and an increasing awareness of the environmental issues surrounding our throwaway culture, there’s never been more of a need for Sort Your Life Out’s inspiring ideas and ingenious tips.”
