Sat.1 has 99 To Beat

The Netherlands’ version of 99 To Beat launched on SBS6 last year

German free-to-air channel Sat.1 has acquired Belgian format 99 To Beat, in the third local adaptation of the gameshow.

The German version is set to premiere on July 9 as a 3×150’ series. In the show, 100 people compete in 99 challenges, with one being eliminated each time. The German version will be called 99 – Eine:r schlägt sie alle! and will be produced by local prodco Fabiola.

The original version aired on Belgian channel één, with a fourth season in production. A children’s version has also been ordered with 25 competitors aged seven to 12 for pubcaster channel Ketnet.

Benelux distributor Primitives is handling sales for the format.
