Sam Rockwell film set for Crackle Plus

Blue Iguana will be available from next Tuesday

US AVoD platform Crackle Plus is preparing to launch an original action-comedy film starring Sam Rockwell.

Blue Iguana follows two small-time crooks and best friends who travel to London to attempt to steal a rare jewel, only to cross paths with another thief with similar plans. It stars Oscar winner Rockwell (Jojo Rabbit, Three Billboards) alongside Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation, Space Force).

Available from Tuesday September 1, the film will sit alongside fellow Crackle Plus originals including Anything is Possible – The Serge Ibaka Story, Road to Race Day, On Point, Cleanin’ Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters and The Clearing.

Philippe Guelton, president of Crackle Plus, said: “This film is packed with action, comedy and even a little bit of romance. We’re excited to bring it to Crackle and it’s a great addition to our ever-expanding programming slate.”
