S4C in Wales renews its version of celeb interview format The A-Talks from Cwmni Da

Y Cyfweliad (The Interview) with singer Dafydd Iwan

Welsh-language broadcaster S4C has commissioned two further seasons of hit format Y Cyfweliad (The Interview), as the first season concludes tonight.

Produced by Cwmni Da, the show is a local-language version of The A-Talks (aka The Assembly) where a group of 30 autistic, neurodivergent and learning-disabled interviewers question well-known figures without any restrictions.

Y Cyfweliad debuted on S4C on December 26, with the first season featuring singer Dafydd Iwan, rugby player Mike Phillips and radio presenter Bronwen Lewis.

The original French format was created by Kiosco TV and Quad Ten for France 2. It is distributed by Can’t Stop Media.
