S4C gets Messy with new children’s comedy series

Annibendod (Messy) will help kids develop their Welsh language skills

NEWS BRIEF: Welsh pubcaster S4C has commissioned a mixed media children’s comedy series aimed at boosting kids’ Welsh language skills.

Set to air in January 2025, Annibendod (Messy) is a 20×10’ slapstick comedy series centred on a mischievous, fun-loving, slightly anarchic and messy girl, her friends and her animated hamster. It is produced by Twt Productions and Boom Cymru for S4C’s Cyw service and will target two-to-five-year-olds who are fluent Welsh speakers and Key Stage 1 and 2 children who are learning the language.
