RTVE, NHK, CCTV feel Earth Touch shows

Migrating to Mexico has been picked up by several broadcasters

Broadcasters including Spanish pubcaster RTVE, Japan’s NHK, China’s CCTV and Viasat World in Northern Europe have picked up content from factual producer and distributor Earth Touch.

RTVE, Korean broadcaster KBS, Finland’s YLE, Arte in France, Sweden’s SVT, Thailand’s TrueVision and Indonesia’s RTV have all bagged big-budget wildlife special Migrating to Mexico (1×50’), produced by Earth Touch, Oscura Productions and Smithsonian Channel, in association with ORF and Universum.

Meanwhile, Earth Touch and Smithsonian coproduction Dung Mafia (1×50’), exploring the fierce rivalries and complex interactions of dung beetles on the African savannah, has been picked up by CCTV, SVT, TrueVision, RTBF in Belgium, Servus TV in Austria and Vietnam’s VTV.

VTV, Discovery Asia, RTP in Portugal, Korea’s EBS, i-Cable in Hong Kong, Russia’s U7 and Longturn in Taiwan have acquired Earth Touch’s new wildlife series Epic Earth (24×26’).

Finally, NHK has acquired Earth Touch and Smithsonian Channel’s Oceanic Whitetip – The Shipwreck Shark (1×50’), which has also been sold to international broadcaster Viasat World for Viasat Nature across the Baltics, CEE, Russia/CIS and Scandinavia.
