RTVE lines up Boxfish TV’s Spanish adaptation of A League of Their Own for La 1

Boxfish TV adapted A League of Their Own as Invictus ¿Te Atreves?

Spanish public broadcaster RTVE flagship channel La 1 is set to debut its primetime adaptation of UK gameshow A League of Their Own.

Titled Invictus ¿Te Atreves?, the show is produced by Madrid-based production company Boxfish TV and presented by Patricia Conde.

In the show, two teams of celebrities face off in a series of physical and mental challenges as famous athletes, comedians and entertainment personalities test their skills, sporting knowledge and sense of humour.

The original version is produced by CPL Productions for Sky and Sky Max in the UK, where its 18th season premiered in August.

The format is distributed by Red Arrow Studios International, with local versions already produced in the US (CBS), Australia (Network 10), Germany (Sky Deutschland) and Denmark (Kanal 5).

Boxfish, which has offices in Argentina, Brazil and Spain, continues to adapt British formats for RTVE, following the local adaptations of Celebrity Bake Off and Bridge of Lies, both from BBC Studios.
