RTL’s NTV links with Big Media on documentary series Fatal Engineering

Fatal Engineering is the second show from Big Media and NTV’s output agreement

RTL Germany’s free-to-air channel NTV has greenlit a documentary series as part of its output deal with New York-based factual prodco Big Media.

Coproduced with NTV Production, Fatal Engineering (6×60’) will go into production immediately. It will look into the details of high-profile building accidents, from structural collapses to technological failures, exploring the human errors, design flaws and unforeseen circumstances that created tragic outcomes.

The greenlight was announced by Big Media co-founder and global head of production Martin Kaše and NTV channel manager Christian Hensgens.

NTV will have exclusive free TV, SVoD and AVoD rights to the series in Germany and non-exclusive rights in German-speaking Europe.

Fatal Engineering is the second series under Big Media’s output agreement with NTV after Modern Warfare 2.0.
