RTL-TVI aims to uncover cash with Send in the Clowns format Finder$ Keeper$

Finder$ Keeper$ debuted as a pilot on Belgium’s VTM

French-language channel RTL-TVI in Belgium has acquired entertainment format Finder$ Keeper$, based on an idea from local formats label Send in the Clowns.

The show offers a family the chance to win €100,000. To get their hands on the money, they must ransack their own home, where expert ‘hiders’ have concealed cash in hard-to-find places, such as inside cereal boxes or behind newly built fake walls.

A pilot episode screened on Belgium’s VTM channel last September and the format has since been picked up by Germany’s RTL2.

“This new Belgian format has all the elements to entertain and surprise our viewers,” said Guillaume Collard, CEO at RTL Belgium.
