Claire Byrne presents Ireland’s Smartest

NEWS BRIEF: Irish pubcaster RTÉ has commissioned a quiz show called Ireland’s Smartest from Belfast-based prodco Green Inc.

Presented by broadcast journalist Claire Byrne, Ireland’s Smartest (10×30’) puts Ireland’s cleverest quizzers to the test comprising six heats, three semi-finals and a grand final. The studio format will see three contestants compete in each episode as they progress through the rounds, until one is crowned series champion. It will air in a primetime Sunday slot on RTÉ One. Green Inc’s founder Stephen Stewart is exec producing.
