Rooster Teeth bites into Audio Network

MIPTV: US videogame-inspired digital producer Rooster Teeth, one of the many multi-channel networks (MCNs) at Mip Digital Fronts today, is partnering with TV and movie music specialist Audio Network.

The Fullscreen-owned MCN will now be able to fully exploit the 90,000-track catalogue available on the Audio Network platform across its slate of animated and live-action web series, including animated shows Red vs Blue and RWBY.

The annual licensing deal adds to Audio Network’s existing partnerships with major MCNs and online producers around the world including Fresh One’s FoodTube and Zoella in the UK, Content One and Mediakraft in Germany and Ping Network in India.

Audio Network said it is investing more than £1m (US$1.5m) each year in new music to meet the needs of its emerging and traditional clients, as well as the growing links between the two.
