Romesh Ranganathan gameshow set for ITV

NEWS BRIEF: UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a primetime celebrity gameshow fronted by comedian and actor Romesh Ranganathan.

Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening (3×60’), made by Ranganathan’s prodco Ranga Bee Productions (Celebrity Rebrand), sees celebrities compete in quiz rounds where their parents choose the questions and gamble on how many they will get right. To be screened on ITV and streamer ITVX, the show is executive produced by Benjamin Green, Ranganathan and Shereen Docherty. ITV Studios is handling global distribution.
