Roku senior VP and general manager Scott Rosenberg to step down

Scott Rosenberg, senior VP and general manager of the platform business at VoD service Roku in the US, is stepping down from his role.

Scott Rosenberg

Rosenberg joined Roku in 2012 as VP of advertising and business development, before being promoted to his current position in 2017. In this role, he has overseen advertising, content and services, while leading and growing the platform business.

Rosenberg will leave the company sometime this spring. Until then, he will continue to lead his teams and assist with the recruitment process for his replacement.

“While Scott remains deeply invested in the company’s success, he’s ready for his next professional challenge and believes this is the right timeframe for him to make a change. I respect and fully support his decision,” said Anthony Wood, Roku’s founder and CEO.

Rosenberg added: “Working at Roku these last nine years has been the most rewarding time of my career, without a close second. Deciding to leave was difficult but made possible by my belief in the incredible bench strength of the platform team and the company as a whole.”
