Rogers orders Canuck version of The Price is Right, unveils Citytv and specialty line-ups

Canadian broadcast group Rogers Sports & Media (RSM) has greenlit a Canadian version of The Price is Right for its Citytv network, with Howie Mandel set to host.

The Price is Right Tonight (working title), based on the Fremantle format, will go into production in December ahead of a spring 2026 launch. RSM ordered 12 one-hour episodes.

The other Canadian shows returning are Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, produced by Lark Productions and Cameron Pictures, and Hudson & Rex, produced by Shaftesbury and Pope Productions.

In all, Citytv announced 21 returning series, three new ones and several specials. Its reality slate includes The Golden Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars and new show On Brand with Jimmy Fallon, while the scripted line-up features Brilliant Minds, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, Hudson & Rex, The Hunting Party, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.

Fox animated comedies The Simpsons, Universal Basic Guys, Bob’s Burgers and Krapopolis will also return to Citytv.

In addition, RSM revealed the programming for its new suite of specialty cable networks.

Its Bravo line-up includes The Real Housewives of Rhode Island and The Valley: Persian Style (working title), as well as returners The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Below Deck Mediterranean, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules and Southern Charm.

HGTV’s returning shows include House Hunters, 100 Day Dream Home, Help! I Wrecked My House, Sin City Rehab and Fixer to Fabulous, with Magnolia Network set to air new seasons of The Last Wright. That’s in addition to two new titles: Chasing the West from Drew & Jonathan Scott and Condemned starring daughter-and-father building duo Kristyn and Pancho Patterson.

RSM’s Food Network features Chopped, Holiday Baking Championship, Halloween Baking Championship, Bobby’s Triple Threat and Beat Bobby Flay, plus Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and Guy’s Grocery Games.

Meanwhile, RSM-owned cablenet Discovery will air new seasons of Homestead Rescue, Josh Gates’ Expedition X and Expedition Unknown, The Last Woodsmen and Street Outlaws, and Investigation Discovery has Death By Fame, Road Rage, Naked Crimes and Signs of a Psychopath.

Earlier in the week, RSM ordered 11 new original unscripted series for its HGTV and Food Network brands, including an adaptation of Come Dine With Me produced by Blink49 and a trio of shows from Scott Brothers Entertainment.

In addition to airing on linear, all of these titles will also stream on RSM’s service Citytv+.
