Roberto Grosman to lead acquisitions for digital platforms at Brazil’s SBT

Brazilian broadcaster SBT has promoted Roberto Grosman, its director of digital transformation, to a new role leading acquisitions for its digital platforms as part of a restructure.

Richard Vaun will continue to oversee the acquisition of content for the main SBT channel.

SBT is restructuring its non-linear operations to focus on the experience of customers and advertisers through content, technology, platforms and data intelligence.

As well as Grosman’s promotion, Carolina Scheinberg has been named as manager of new businesses and Goyo García as account executive.

SBT is also preparing to relaunch its AVoD platform to give it greater synergy with the broader SBT brand. The service will include content from the linear channel as well as new titles acquired from third parties.
