RMC Decouverte unveils Mayan doc

Documentary series The Mayans: From Origins to Downfall

NEWS BRIEF: French factual broadcaster RMC Decouverte has greenlit The Mayans: From Origins to Downfall, a 4×60’ documentary series from Vivendi-backed Paris prodco Pernel Media.

Pernel has had access to film a groundbreaking expedition at Aguada Fenix, the oldest and largest Mayan site found to date. Histoire TV has also pre-bought the series for a second window in France where it will be titled Les Mayans: le Mystère des Origines à la Chute.
