RGTV shifts 350 hours

Los Angeles-based distributor Rive Gauche Television (RGTV) has sold over 350 hours to broadcasters in multiple markets worldwide in the run-up to MipTV.

In Europe, Travelers With Skis has gone to Chellozone and AB France; Horsemen Cometh was acquired by NTV in Germany; My Strange Addiction went to Blue Eyes TV in Germany; Scare Tactics sold to Beeponmedia in Italy; and The Dog Whisperer was licensed to Sixx and Ascot Elite in Germany.

Nelonen in Finland took Sea Rescue, while TV5 in Finland and TVNorge in Norway both acquired Operation Repo. Eastern European sales include pay platform D-Smart in Turkey buying My Strange Addiction, My Crazy Obsession and Wineroads, while Beeponmedia took Scare Tactics for Albania and Kosovo.

RGTV also found buyers for programmes in the Asia-Pacific region: Animal Science (licensed to LIC China), Operation Repo (Network Seven in Australia), My Crazy Obsession (NTV in Japan), while TrueCorp in Thailand took a package comprising Sea Rescue, Born to Explore, Horsemen Cometh, Wild About Animals, Travelers With Skis and Jack Hanna’s Into The Wild.

In Canada, Operation Repo went to Rogers Media while My Strange Addiction was bought by Canal Vie.
