Rewind picks up shortform duo

Director’s Short Cut will be broadcast across Asia later this year

Singaporean entertainment firm Rewind Networks has picked up shortform titles Stars and Director’s Short Cut from Paris- and LA-based prodco and distributor Prime Entertainment Group.

The deal covers 50 episodes of each show. Biographical series Stars (105×4’) illustrates the lives of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities with exclusive and archival footage, while Director’s Short Cut (205×4’) tells stories from the careers of great film directors.

Both series are set to be broadcast across Asia later this year. Rewind’s linear TV channel, HITS, reaches more than 16 million households in 12 Asian countries.
