Reshet 13 takes plunge with Money Drop

The Money Drop airs in numerous territories including Poland

Israeli broadcaster Reshet 13 has ordered a local version of Remarkable Television’s gameshow format The Money Drop.

The Money Drop, adapted in 53 international territories but off-air for a decade in Israel, will be produced by Banjiay-owned Endemol Shine Israel.

The series sees contestants begin with a huge cash prize that they can only keep if they can answer multiple choice questions. If they answer incorrectly, their winnings fall through a trap door and are gone forever.

After a 10-year hiatus, we can’t wait to produce this nail-biting gameshow with Reshet, bringing The Money Drop to a new generation of Israelis and welcoming back those that previously loved the show.”

Endemol Shine Israel produces local versions of shows including Big Brother, Queens, Fifty, Valley of Tears and Games of Chef.
