Remedy hiring spree goes on

Argonon-owned UK prodco Remedy Productions has made its second senior executive hire of the week, appointing a former BBC commissioning exec as executive editor.

Suzanne Gilfillan spent 20 years at the BBC, working on comedy titles including Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week and The Graham Norton Show.

She is now joining Remedy with responsibility for developing entertainment and comedy formats, reporting to joint MD Juliet Borges and working alongside creative director Ted Hill.

This is the second senior appointment at Remedy in as many days, following the arrival of Endemol executive producer Tom Blakeson to spearhead a push into gameshows and interactive formats yesterday.
