Red Arrow Studios’ Dorsey Pictures hires Hayden Boal as part of executive reshuffle

Red Arrow Studios-backed US prodco Dorsey Pictures, has hired former Critical Content and Relativity Television exec Hayden Boal, as part of an executive reshuffle.

Boal joins the company as VP of development, having previously held the same role for Center Drive Media.

He was also an original member of unscripted production company GoodStory Entertainment, and previously worked at Critical Content and with Relativity Television.

Boal has developed a slate of unscripted series and formats including Karma (HBO Max), The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey (CBS), Who Shot Biggie & Tupac? (Fox), The Woodsmen (History), The Boonies (Nat Geo), My Five Wives (TLC), and forthcoming series on Paramount+, CuriosityStream and The CW. Boal will continue to live in Los Angeles.

Elsewhere Dorsey is upping Matt Assmus to senior VP of production, Tameka Simmons will be elevated to VP of finance; and Lisa Stanley is now executive in charge of production. The company has also added Talia Eaton as development coordinator.

Dorsey has also agreed a partnership with LA-based Vital Artists Agency, which represents production companies, showrunners and directors in non-fiction television.
