Red Arrow shops TV3’s Buying Blind

The distribution arm of Germany’s Red Arrow Group is launching a format in which families entrust their life savings to experts to buy them a house they haven’t seen.

Snowman Productions’ Buying Blind airs on Denmark’s TV3

Buying Blind, produced by Copenhagen-based Snowman Productions and created by Kinetic Content in the US, is airing on Denmark’s TV3 and will be part of Red Arrow International’s slate at Mipcom.

Other reality formats include Kinetic Content-produced The Spouse House, which follows singletons looking for a marriage partner, and Snowman Productions’ Pregnant with a Stranger and State of Hate. In the former, women ask experts to find them a man to have a child with, while the latter looks at groups divided by hate.

London-based Curve Media’s A Matter of Life & Debt (15×60’), which looks at people taking out loans from credit unions, leads the factual line-up. Also included are Pernel Media’s The Story of Toys (6×60’) and Uppercut Films/STV Productions naval documentary copro Strike Carrier (3×60’).

Sagafilm’s crime series Stella Blómkvist (6×60’/3×90’) spearheads the drama slate, along with Zeitsprung Pictures’ crime procedural Einstein (20×60’).
