Red Arrow boosts formats focus

Germany’s Red Arrow Entertainment has appointed an executive from within parent group ProSiebenSat.1 to focus on format development.

Nina Etspüler has worked for ProSiebenSat.1 since 1999, first as a talkshow producer before moving into entertainment three years later.

As an editor, she was responsible for formats including Elton vs Simon, Comedystreet XXL and Rent a Pocher.

She now takes up the newly created post of creative producer at Red Arrow with a remit to identify and develop TV formats together with external and internal creative partners. She will also be responsible for consulting producers and TV channels on Red Arrow’s strategic IP during roll-out.

Red Arrow launched in January 2010 and has built up global production operations through investment in companies including Kinetic Content in the US, Snowman Productions in Sweden and Denmark and Sultan Sushi in Benelux. The firm also has output deals with Deal or No Deal creator Dick de Rijk, Genetic Entertainment and others.
