The original You’re Back in the Room

Colombian broadcaster RCN has ordered a local version of BBC Worldwide’s hypnotic entertainment format You’re Back in the Room.

RCN’s 15×60′ version, Hipnosis: Un juego de Mente, will start airing on Sunday February 14. The format was originally created by UK prodco Tuesday’s Child for commercial broadcaster ITV and is being produced in Colombia by Bogota-based Miracol Media.

The comedy gameshow sees five strangers taking on a series of apparently simple challenges while hypnotised, with actor, director and local TV presenter Victor Mallarino fronting RCN’s show along with comedy stage hypnotist Mustafa Badawy.

The format has previously sold to Nine Network in Australia, Fox in the US and across Europe.
