Raydar puts Project Planet on map

Project Planet is produced by Emerald Films and Air Pig Productions

Australian pubcaster ABC’s eco-focused series Project Planet and fly-on-the-wall doc The Kununurra Kid are heading to Cannes as part of UK producer-distributor Raydar Media’s slate for MipJunior and Mipcom.

Project Planet (8×24’) follows three diverse Australian schools and their teams of elected ‘Waste Warriors’ as they seek to transform their schools to aid the fight against global warming. The series is produced by Emerald Films and Air Pig Productions.

Princess Pictures-produced The Kununurra Kid (8×20’) centres on youngster Tom Forrest as he travels around Australia exploring his roots and the wider life outside his country town in the Australian outback.

These two titles join flagship scripted series Apple Tree House, season three of which Raydar is taking to Cannes. The preschool series for UK pubcaster the BBC’s CBeebies channel has recently been picked up by broadcasters around the world.
