NEWS BRIEF: Spain-based VoD platform Rakuten TV has added a free ad-supported factual channel to its line-up focusing on shocking stories from some of the world’s most unforgiving locations, from German distributor and channel owner Quintus Studios.

Radical Docs will feature stories about power and the world’s banking systems, food globalisation and the meat industry and the world’s most dangerous places, no-go zones and brutal penal institutions, with shows such as Behind Bars: The World’s Toughest Prisons.
