Race against time thriller Transporter tops Whatever Pictures’ scripted Mipcom offering

Crime thriller Transporter headlines Finnish production company Whatever Pictures’ slate of scripted series for Mipcom next week.

The 6×45’ series, commissioned by Icelandic streamer Simmin and acquired by MTV in Finland, is a coproduction with Reykjavík-based prodco Glassriver. It follows transplant coordinator Niina on a gripping, life-or-death race against time as she tries to recover a hijacked organ meant for her sick sister.

Other series in Oulu-headquartered Whatever’s roster include political drama Finnkampen, refugee smuggling thriller Between Three Fires, assassin thriller Ice House and feel-good rural comedy Crème de la Crème.
