Queer Eye renewed for 10th and final season at Netflix

Netflix has renewed its makeover reality series Queer Eye for a 10th and final season.

Production on the final instalment started this week in Washington DC, with the new episodes set to celebrate the show’s legacy and impact.

Starring Antoni Porowski, Jeremiah Brent, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown and Tan France, the rebooted version of Queer Eye debuted on Netflix in 2018. It is based on the hit early 2000s series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which ran for five seasons on Bravo.

The reboot, produced by Scout Productions, is Netflix’s longest-running unscripted series. Since its premiere on the streamer seven years ago, it has racked up numerous awards, including winning the Emmy for outstanding structured reality series on six consecutive occasions from 2018 to 2023. In total, it has earned 37 Emmy nominations and 11 wins.

David Collins, Michael Williams and Rob Eric executive produce the series for Scout Productions, while showrunner Jennifer Lane is also an exec producer. Executive producers for ITV Entertainment include Jordana Hochman, Mark Bracero and Lyndsey Burr, in addition to Brent, Brown, France, Porowski and Van Ness.
