Propagate to fuel Nitro Circus

Nitro Circus is focused on action sports

The distribution arm of Propagate, the prodco run by Ben Silverman and Howard T Owens, has signed a deal with action-sports entertainment brand Nitro Circus.

Propagate will handle international sales of series and specials produced by Nitro Circus, with the catalogue set to make its debut at the Mipcom market in Cannes next month.

Nitro Circus Crazy Train, Nitro Circus Live and Nitro World Games: All Access are among the content from Nitro Circus that Propagate will represent.

The catalogue also features six documentaries, including Revolution Day: The Chase for the Biggest Trick in Action Sports History and Road to the Unthinkable: The Quest for the First Motorcycle Triple Backflip.

“Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus team have produced a collection of high-energy content featuring action-sports stars from across the globe,” said Cyrus Farrokh, president of Propagate International.

“The Nitro Circus catalogue will fit nicely with our growing portfolio, appealing to that desirable and hard-to-reach young male audience that broadcasters worldwide are targeting.”

Propagate launched its distribution arm at Mipcom last year and later tapped Farrokh from Electus to run it.

A+E Networks-backed Propagate’s slate includes the Apple original TV series Planet of the Apps and Amazon’s Lore, a horror series based on the podcast of the same name.
