Cyrus Farrokh will continue to oversee global distribution, sales and formats as president of distribution at the company’s sales arm, Propagate International.

In her expanded role, Mostajeran will oversee Propagate’s content relationships and strategic partnerships throughout the Middle East and also retain her existing responsibilities as head of business affairs, west coast. She will split her time between LA and Dubai.

Mostajeran and Farrokh both report to Drew Buckley, group president and chief operating officer of Propagate.

Mostajeran has been with Propagate Content since 2018. Prior to that she served as senior attorney of business and legal affairs for both Critical Content and Gurney Productions.

Content sales and format sales in the Middle East will continue to be overseen by Propagate International, which is led by recently appointed executive VP and head of formats Isabelle Blog-Azoulay and director of sales Dan Thunell. Both Blog-Azoulay and Thunell report to Farrokh.

In recent years, Propagate says it has experienced significant growth in the Middle East through both content and format sales, including the launch of a local version of the Fashion Star format, which is now in its fourth season on Dubai1, and a local version of Jane the Virgin produced by S Productions for MBC.

Founded by Ben Silverman and Howard T Owens in 2015, Propagate has offices in Los Angeles, New York and Paris. Its credits include Netflix titles Rebelde Way, UNTOLD and Animals on the Loose: A You vs the Wild Interactive Movie, ABC’s Notre Dame: Our Lady of Paris and TBS’s Go-Big Show.
