Prodco Dare Pictures adds social entrepreneur Michelle Morgan as chair

UK indie Dare Pictures has appointed social entrepreneur Michelle Morgan as the company’s new chair, effective immediately.

Dare was launched a year ago by former Woodcut Media exec Derren Lawford and has now brought Morgan on board in an advisory and supporting capacity.

Michelle Morgan is the founder of sleepwear brand Pjoys: PJs with Purpose, author of Own Your Awkward, as well as a leading voice on mental health.

Prior to this she was co-founder of purpose-led youth business Livity (acquired by Mission Group in 2022), chair of Livity Africa and exec producer of Dubplate Drama, one of the first interactive TV shows on Channel 4 and MTV.
