The first episodes Tara Duncan have already aired in France

Broadcasters in more than 80 countries have picked up Tara Duncan, a new animated series from European children’s prodco Princess Sam Pictures.

Tara Duncan (52×13’) is currently in production, with completion of the series expected next month. The initial episodes of the adventure-comedy show have already aired in France on Disney Channel and Gulli.

Disney Channel in Japan and Benelux have also picked up the series, as have broadcasters including RTS in Switzerland, DeAKids in Italy, Télé-Québec in Canada, RTÉ in Ireland, NRK in Norway, Nelonen in Finland, RTBF in Belgium, TVNZ in New Zealand, SIC K in Portugal and Gulli in Africa.

Tara Duncan is about an ordinary girl from earth who arrives on the magical planet OtherWorld to learn how to manage her uncontrollable powers and protect her family. There she must count on her new friends to solve mysteries and face evil forces.

The show targets kids aged six to nine and is based on the young-adult book series of the same name by Princess Sam CEO Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian.

Audouin-Mamikonian launched Princess Sam in 2018. The company operates from France, Spain and Portugal, where it produces and distributes children’s series.
