Prime Video renews Young Sherlock for S2

NEWS BRIEF: Amazon’s Prime Video has renewed its Sherlock Holmes origin story Young Sherlock for a second season.

Starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the action mystery drama is created for television and executive produced by showrunner Matthew Parkhill. Guy Ritchie, who directed the first season, will return to direct the first episode of S2. The first season follows a young Holmes as he meets James Moriarty and then finds himself dragged into his first murder investigation, which unravels into a globe-spanning conspiracy. Exec producers include Marc Resteghini, Dhana Rivera Gilbert, Simon Maxwell, Ivan Atkinson, Parkhill and Ritchie.
