Prime Video nabs US rights to American Civil War drama The Gray House 

American Civil War drama The Gray House

Amazon-owned streamer Prime Video has acquired the US rights to American Civil War drama The Gray House.

The series, which is produced by Territory Pictures, Revelations Entertainment and Big Dreams Entertainment, is scheduled to debut on Prime Video in early 2026. The deal was handled by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The Gray House follows the true story of the women who turned the tide of the American Civil War in favour of the North, risking life and liberty as they transformed the Underground Railroad into an underground spy network. The project had its world premiere at the Monte Carlo TV Festival in 2024.

It is produced via Paramount label Republic Pictures alongside Territory Pictures, Revelations Entertainment and Big Dreams Entertainment. Executive producers include Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman, Lori McCreary, Rod Lake, Howard Kaplan and Leslie Greif.

The cast includes Mary-Louise Parker, Daisy Head, Amethyst Davis, Ben Vereen, Paul Anderson, Ian Duff, Hannah James and Robert Knepper.
