Prime Video Italy takes Red Carpet Survival S2

Red Carpet, Vip al tappeto, its local version of Nippon TV’s gameshow

NEWS BRIEF: Amazon’s Prime Video in Italy has ordered a second season of Red Carpet, Vip al tappeto, its local version of Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV’s gameshow Red Carpet Survival.

Italian prodco Blu Yazmine produce the local version which will return for a second run in 2026. Red Carpet Survival sees contestants act as bodyguards who must safely escort a celebrity VIP. Their mission is to make the VIP stay on the red carpet that stretches out to their destination while attempting to survive crazy traps. The format was originally created and produced by Nippon TV in 2019.
