Prime Video investigates evangelical teen pop culture with Shiny Happy People docuseries renewal

Streamer Prime Video has greenlit a second season of docuseries Shiny Happy People.

Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Story Force Entertainment and Chick Entertainment, the series is entitled Shiny Happy People: A Teenage Holy War and focuses on controversial US spiritual organisation Teen Mania, which recruited young followers through Evangelical religious rock shows. Premiering on July 23, it’s executive produced by Blye Faust and Cori Shepherd.
