Portugal’s TVI to adapt Dori Media’s game show Intuition

Intuition was created by Israel-based Dori Media and Oded Menashe

Portugal’s leading free-to-air broadcaster TVI has greenlit a local adaptation of Intuition, the game show created by Israel-based Dori Media and Oded Menashe, creator of hit series Smart Face.

The Portuguese version will mark the format’s European debut following its first adaptation in 2017 by Uruguay’s Canal 4, where it aired under the title Es tu Sentido.

In Intuition, contestants must rely entirely on their instincts as they are asked 10 questions about a random person they’ve just met.

TVI has ordered 20 episodes, set to premiere in December.

“This is an extremely fun game show that the entire family can enjoy together, where all you truly need is your intuition to win. And it can be produced basically anywhere – on the street, in a mall or even in a restaurant,” said Nadav Palti, CEO of Dori Media Group.

Intuition is part of Dori Media’s growing unscripted slate, which also includes the new format The Auction, created with Israel’s Abot Hameiri in collaboration with Peru’s América Televisión and Argentinian producers Kapow and Open Kimono. América launched the first local adaptation earlier this year under the title La Subasta, produced by América Estudios.

The announcement comes in the same week that Dori Media revealed a global representation deal with Argentinian production companies Kuarzo Entertainment and StoryLab for their scripted catalogues.

Dori Media, which operates offices in Israel, Switzerland, Argentina, Spain and India, will showcase Intuition, The Auction and its 7,500-episode library of daily and weekly dramas, reality formats, entertainment shows and kids’ programming to global buyers at Mipcom next week.
