Portugal, Netherlands drive Ultimate Celebrity Car Park Showdown deals with Primitives

Belgian format The Ultimate Celebrity Car Park Showdown from Primitives

Broadcasters in Portugal and the Netherlands have commissioned local versions of Belgian format The Ultimate Celebrity Car Park Showdown from Vilvoorde-based Primitives.

In Portugal, TVI will premiere the local adaptation, titled Star Park, in April 2025, with host Pedro Teixeira. The show will be produced by Fremantle Portugal.

In The Netherlands, RTL4 has greenlit its own version titled Los het Op, set to launch in fall 2025, with Fabiola attached as local producer.

It comes after the format, created by Woestijnvis, launched on Play4 in Belgium under the title Kamp Jeroom, featuring a host of chaotic challenges. A second season of Kamp Jeroom will launch on Play4 on April 3.

Each episode features three celebrity duos facing off in a series of wild and unexpected challenges, all set in an underground car park. From brain-bending puzzles to parking chaos, the games are designed to test their reaction speed, coordination, logic and nerves.

Simone de Pruyssenare, director of sales and acquisitions at Primitives, said the series offers “a unique blend of comedy, chaos and competition.”
